The Comité de Liaison meets about 4 times a year, usually on the occasion of an international trade fair. It is organised in 3 main committees: the trade show committee, the promotion committee and the wine committee.
The CDL's work is coordinated by a Steering Committee which sets up the Comité de Liaison’s priorities and gives the impulse for meetings and new initiatives.
It is seconded in his tasks by a General Secretary who is appointed for a two-year renewable mandate by the Comité de Liaison general assembly. The General Secretary’s role is to maintain a good communication between CDL members, coordinate meetings and run the day-to-day tasks necessary to the good functioning of the Comité de Liaison. The General Secretary represent the opinions and the interests of the CDL members in EU and international discussions.
